  Our new SMART2 Transmission Sensor Expansion Module adds up to 6 additional analog sensor inputs and 2 VR speed sensor inputs to our line of shift boxes utilizing the SMART2 expansion port, which currently includes the SMART 25, SMART 150, and SMART 250 TCM's. Available as a plug and play module with terminated sensor harness direct to the transmission, optional sensors with necessary fittings, or more of a DIY option with either a flying lead harness or just a connector and pins. The expansion module will plug directly into the SMART2 8 pin plug and offers an additional SMART2 plug allowing the use of daisy chaining SMART2 devices, including the SMART2 display or SMART2 handheld controllers. This module is intended, along with a firmware update, to allow datalogging transmission sensors including clutch pressures, transmission temperature, input shaft RPM, output shaft RPM. It includes a switchable 1K pull up resistor on 2 of the analog inputs to make use of thermistor style temperature sensors with no additional hardware. This expansion module is perfect for applications still utilizing the stock ECU with limited analog inputs for datalogging. Currently, datalogs may be viewed with the Mega Log Viewer, but we are adding out own datalog viewer in the near future to the SMART software package. This module is robust, stylish, and a cost effective design.

The SMART2 Transmission Sensor Expansion Module includes the following features:

• 6 additional analog 0-5VDC sensor inputs
• 2 analog inputs contain software switchable 1K pull up to 5V resistors
• 2 frequency inputs with Variable Reluctor sensor signals
• Optional complete plug and play wiring harness terminated for sensors
